FRENCH ROAST *
The flavor is distinguished more by the degree of roast than by the particular beans used. Ahrre uses a blend of dense, hard Arabica beans from Latin America because it develops the dark-roast flavor better and will stand up to the heat and duration of the roast. The flavor is dominated by the smoky
“burnt” nuance of the ebony colored beans.
This blend was developed especially for use in espresso machines, although it is tasty when made in any brewer. The aroma is balanced and complex, and the flavor is intense, full-bodied, and rich with natural oils.
